A Professor of Agricultural Engineering and one of Nigeria's most senior voices on industrialisation, raw-materials development and the commercialisation of research. A First-Class engineer trained at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, with a doctorate from Dalhousie University, Canada, his career has spanned the university lecture hall, the federal science-and-engineering establishment, and the leadership of national research institutions.
For eight years he led RMRDC — Nigeria's apex body for raw-materials development — championing local value addition, beneficiation, and the Triple-Helix collaboration between government, academia and industry. It is that rare blend of deep technical authority and institutional reach that Favtoma is built upon.
